ALBUMEN MILK. Nearly a tumblerful of milk; white of one egg; teaspoonful of sugar (if liked). Whisk the egg and milk together until the egg lias lost all sliminess. Let it stand for half an hour. Strain into a tumbler and add the sugar. TOAST WATER. Two slices toast; 1 pint boiling water; sugar; lemon juice. Pour boiling water over the toast, add sugar and lemon juice (if liked), cover the jug, and let stand for half, an hour, or till cold. Strain and use. i EGG NOa The yolk of one egg; 1 teaspoonful sugar; 1£ gills milk; 2 teaspoonfuls brandy. Stir the yolk and the sugar till creamy, then carefully add the boiling milk, stirring all the time. Lastly add the brandy and strain into a hot tumbler. Serve very hot. MILK AND PEPPERMINT. One glass milk; '3 drops peppermint essence; l.lump sugar. Boil the milk, add the peppermint and the sugar, and drink as hot as possible. This is specially good for a cold.
