Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the New Lynn Town Board held on the 9th .day of August, 1926, the following Resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation as a Special Order at the Ordinary Meeting of the Board to; be held on MONDAY, the 13th day of September, 1926, in the Board Office, New Lynn, st 7.30 p.m., viz.:— " j'hat whereas by certain by-laws of the New Lynn Town Board made by Special Order pursuant to a Resolution passed on the 12th day of November,. 3917, and confirmed on the 17th day of December, 1917, provision was made prescribing the fee or feeß payable for and on the issue of a Building Permit for the erection of any building, or for the addition, .allegation or repairs to any building; and whereas it has become di-siiable to alter and amend such fee or fees payable and to amend the said by-laws .accordingly, now the N'ew Ljnn Town Board, pursuant. : to the powers and authorities • conferred upon it by "The Town Boards Act, 1908," and amendments thereto, "The Miincipal CorV porations Act, 1920," -and of all otter the powers and authorities enabling it in that behalf, doth hereby ordain as follows: "No person shall build, erect or canse to be built or erected within the New Lynn Town District any building or erection in the nature of a building, or- addition, alterations rr repairs to any building, without having first obtained the written permission of the Board in the form No. 4 set forth in the Schedule to the 6aid bj lav,a (herfeinafter referred to as a Building Permit), to be granted in tno manner prescribed by Paragraph' 32 of the said by-laws, and the provisions of the said by-laws relating to houses, shops or new buildings. shall apply to all , buildings and erections in the nature of buildings within the said Town Dis- * tii'ct. •Paragraph 32 of the said by-laws .'is hereby amended by the deletion of the words "ten shillings'' and "five shillings" and all other words and clauses relating to and prescribing the fees payable for a Building Permit, and such paragraph 32 shall be read and construed as varied by this amendment and as if the fees mentioned below had been set out in such paragraph 32. - - "The applicant for such permission shall, at the time of making application for the issue of a Building Permit, pay to the New Lynn Town Board, the following fees; that is to say—- £ 6- d.
