RAILWAY FATALITY.
TRAIN EXAMINER KILLED. ACCIDENT AT TE KUITI. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT. ] TE KUITI. Friday. A train examiner, Mr. It. J. McClatchie, was fatally injured in the railway yards to-dav. He was working under a single carriage when several cattle trucks were shunted on to it. Mr. McClatchie became caught under tho carriage and sustained grave injuries from which he died a few hours later.
He was about 55 years of age and leaves a wife and two children. An inquest will bo held to-morrow.
