A DIVORCE CASE.
ADMIRAL AS CO-RESPONDENT. DECREE FOR KING'S OCULIST. LONDON. July 29. Admiral Sir Guy Gaunt was the corespondent in Sir Richard Cruise's successful divorce suit to-day. Sir Richard, who is the King's oculist, stated that Sir Guy Gaunt knew his wife before their marriage in 1913. His wife went to Kenya in 1924 and Sir Guy was visiting there at the same time. Petitioner said he had no suspicion of the relations between his wife and corespondent, but in March, 1925, Sir Guy Gaunt told him that he was becoming too fond of his wife and would go abroad. When petitioner returned home his wife had gone. Subsequently his wife wrote from British Columbia where she was with Sir Guy Gaunt Sir Guy Gaunt visited Australia "in May of last year, while on a tour of the world. He then left for the East, and no newa was received of him for some months. In February of this year it was reported that he had met with an accident and that he had lost his memory. He later resigned from the House of Commons.
