DANCING.
A grand opening long night dance will be held in the new Delta Theatre, Great North Road. New Lynn, on Monday evening. The floor is especially suited to dancing, being considered as one of tho best in the province. Many novel features, including wireless items, have been arranged. The second annual ball of the Returned Soldiers' Association will be held in the Masonic Hall, Princes Street, on Tuesday evening. Evening dress is optional. Careful preparations have been mads to ensure the success of the dance to be held under the auspices of the Parisian Dancing Club in the Society cf Arts Hall this evening. Perrins' orchestra will provide the music and by special request Mr. tvan Perrin will play a pianoforte solo, Study in B flat (' Wagner-Lisztj, A long night dance will be held by th« Grey Lynn branch of the Labour Party in O'Neill Street Hall, Ponsonby, this evening. The "Best of All" Orchestra, headed by Mr. G. Paltridge, will be in attendance. There w«Il be a liberal supply of prizes. A freo bus will run at midnight to Surrey Crescent, Western Springs and Point Chevalier. The West End Rowing Club will hold its fortnightly dance in ths Holly tearooms, Karangahape Road, this evening. Al. Clark's orchestra will play for jazzing. A dance will be held in the Town Hall concert chamber this evening from eight o'clock to 12 o'clock. The Famous Ritz Dance Orchestra, conducted by Mr. Charles Aves, will provide the music and Mr. Hartly Warburtou will sing selected songs.
