A former attache at the court of the late Tsar Nicholas has informed the Italian newspapers that Nicholas deposited his fortune in London at the outbreak of the war. He states that notwithstanding withdrawals of sums used to alleviate distress in Russia a sum of £12,000,000, plus interest, remains. The surviving relatives of the late Tsar desire King George or King Emanuel of Italy to "arbitrate on the disposal of this money, but they cannot legally prove tiTat the.Tsar is dead.
