In the professional boxing contest held under tho auspices of the Te Aroha Boxing Association yesterday .T. Broadfoot, Waihi, secured the verdict over N. McNight, Hamilton. in a 10-rounda contest of three-minute rounds. Broadfoot scored frequently with (ailing punches, being heavier than hia opponent. It was' a clean and willing contest, always entertaining to watch. At the conclusion of the match there was a demonstration against the referee's decision Other bouls resulted: —B.
