DANCING.

A new and up-to-date cabaret to be known as the Click Clack Cabaret, will be opened in the Rialto Buildings, Newmarket, shortly. The cabaret will be open every Wednesday and Saturday evening from 8 p.m to midnight. The opening dance of a series to be held in the Town Hall concert chamber will take t place this evening. Music will be provided by the Ritz Dance Orchestra, which has met with considerable success in New York. The band is under the conductorship of Charles Aves, a well-known Danish composer, late of the Ambassadors' Cabaret, Sydney. An exhibition of the Charleston will be given by Professor Kelly and Miss Ward. Mr. HartleyWarburton will give selected songs. The popularity of the Parisian Dancing Club's dances in the Society of Arts Hall is increasing rapidly, and last Saturday evening there was an attendance of over 400. At this evening's dance music will be provided by Perrin's Dance Orchestra, which will by special request render " After the Storm," as arranged by Mr. Perrin. Other popular items will also bo given! A " jubilation " dance to celebrate the elimination of the clubhouse debt will be held at the Bavswater Clubhouse next Wednesday evening. The Returned Soldiers' Association's second annual ball will be held in the Masonic Hall, Princes Street, on Tuesday, August 3. The Waterside Workers' Social Club will hold old-time dances in the Trades Hall this evening. Owing to the closing of the " Casino de Danse " the Grey Lynn Labour Party's dances will in future be held in O'Neill Street Hall. Old-time dancing will be held this evening. A grand carnival night-will be held at Dixieland Cabaret this evening. Music will be provided by the Dixieland Internationals. The afternoon session will be held from 2.30 to 5 p.m. Afternoon tea will bo served to-morrow afternoon and music will be provided. Dances are held at the Oriental Rendezvous, Mangere Bridge, every Saturday and Wednesday evening.
