REVOLVERS AND KNIVES.
MAN WITH MANY WEAPONS. # FOURTEEN DAYS IN PRISON. [by telegraph.—press association.] INVERCARGILL. Friday. At the Police Court to-day, Leslie Edyvean, who was arrested early on Wednesday morning with three revolvers, one of which was loaded, and two sheath knives in his possession, was charged with being fotffid by night in possession of an offensive weapon. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 14 days' imprisonment. Accused admitted to the police that he broke into the Ford premises in Christchurch and stole a car and other, goods. Several charges will be preferred against him at Christchnrch.
