PLANS FOR ROYAL TOUR.
PROBABLE ITINERARY. INCLUSION OF NEW ZEALAND. INFANT PRINCESS NOT COMING. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received 7.5 p.m.) A. and N.Z.—Renter. LONDON. July 20. It is officially announced that the infant Princess Elizabeth will not accompany her parents, the Duke and Duchess of York, on their visit to Australia. Every care will be taken of her under the direct supervision of Queen Mary. Although the details of the transportation of the Duke and Duchess have not yet been settled it is unofficially stated that the precedent of the visit of the present King and Queen (then the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall) in 1901, will be almost meticulously followed, including the chartering of a mail steamer with a naval escort comprising a battleship or battle-cruiser. The itinerary will be similar to that of 1901, and will embrace all the principal Australian ports and also New Zealand. The return route may differ from that of the 1901 tour by the inclusion of the Cape instead of Canada.
