THE RECENT LIBEL ACTION.

A JURYMAN'S RIDER. In the report published yesterday of the libel action, Alfred Hall Skeiton v. Henry Hastings Scabrook and Thomas Farrell, it was stated that one juryman, Mr. Palmer, asked that it should be uoted that although there was no libel the methods adopted by the defendants were to be deprecated. One of the jurymen did add the above fider to the verdict, but it was not Mr. Palmer.
