PROPOSED LOAN OF £15.500 FOR THE PURPOSE OF RECONSTRUCTION OF THE GREAT SOUTH ROAD. In pursuance of Section 9 of the abovementioned Act, notice is hereby given:— 1. The purpose for which the Loan is required* is-: (a) To construct a Carriage-way of Concrete 18ft. wide with 4ft. of sealed metal shoulders on both sides, .at permanent levels and extending from boundary to boundary of the district. (b) To extend the work within the brick area so that the permanent construction of the road shall be 4o the full width of 6Gft., thereby including kerbing and channelling, * construction of footways and necessary storm water drainage. 2. The amount of the Loan is £15,500. 3. The proposed security for the Loan shall be a special annually-recurring rate of Id in the £ on the capital value of all ratable property within the Papakura Town District. It ia proposed to make such Loan repayable in 364 years and to make provision for a sinking fund of not less than one per cent, per annum. 4. It is "intended to pay out of the Loan the first year's interest and sinking fund, together with such cost, charges and expenses as the Papakura Town Board may determine to have been actually , incurred in connection with the raising of such Loan.
