SEARCH FOR MISCREANT.
GOULBURN SHOOTING CASE. DISTRICT BEING SCOURED. A and N.Z* SYDNEY* June 8. Although many parties are scouring the district around the township of Collector, in the Goulburn district, in search of the armed man who yesterday fired at a commercial traveller and a constable, no trace of him has been found. The inspector of police, who is in charge of the search, says he has formed certain opinions which may lead to strange developments.
