. A short sitting of the Supreme Court to deal with divorce cases was held yesterday by Mr. Justice Stringer, The petition of Victor Percy Stuart (Mr. Cahill) against Thelma May. Stuart, for restitution of conjugal rights was based upon, an allegation of definite withdrawal frorfi marital relations in October, 1925. Petitioner said that his wife was over-fond of dancing, and persisted in attending such functions in spite ,of his remonstrances. She had definitely refused in writing to return to him. An order was made for restitution within 14 days. Having been separated from her husband, Frederick Wm. Danks, since April, 1917, Lavinia Henrietta Danks (Mr, Cahill) asked the Court to legally sever the marriage tie. There are two children of the marriage, both now grown up, His Honor granted a decree nisi.
