WEDDINGS.

The marriage took place in London recently between Joan, elder daughter of Mr, and Mrs. E. P. Levien, of Wellington, and grand-daughter of the lato'Mr. Robert Laery, to Paymaster-Lieut: It. Prevett, Royal Navy, now serving in H.M.S. Conquest. Lieut. Prevett was for three years in New Zealand waters in H.M.S. Chatham. ;

At St, Andrew's Church, A shiny Gardens, London, t Vie marriage took place oir April 30, of ' the Rev. Hubert William Hatvouit, son of tho lute Mr. Charles 11. i farcourt. of Auckland, to Chariotto Mary (May)', daughter of the late Charles Spencer Madan, of Lichfield and Deganwy,, and' Mrs. Madan. The ceremony was performed by the Right Rev. the Bishop of Buckingham, assisted by the Rev. G. H. Stenning.

A wedding of much interest was quietly solemnised at St. .James* Presbyterian Church, Auckland, on Tuesday, June 1, The contracting parties were Miss Sylvia M. Goldsworthy (daughter of the lata Mrs. Goldsworthy, and Mr. John Goldsworthy, Coromandel) and Mr. David McDonald, Pokeno. The officiating clergyman was tho Rev, Evan Harries. Tho bride, who entered the church on the arm of .her brother, Mr. 11. Goldsworthy, wore a handsome gown of delphinium blue georgette, richly embroidered in silver beads, with godets of silver lace, Her hat of silver tissue 1 was relieved with blue to tone, and she carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums and maidenhair fern, with streamers of silver. Miss Dora Vincent, niece of the bride, who attended as bridesmaid, wore a dainty little gown of palest pink crepe de chine, relieved with silver, and she carried a bouquet of pale pink, flowers and maidenhair fern, with pinlc streamers. Mr. W. Matchett,' of Grey Lynii£ performed the duties of best man.
