THE KAIRANGA. The Kairanga is expected to complete unloading coal at Prince's Wharf this afternoon, sailing at 5 o'clock fox Newcastle. Mm LEAVES NEW YORK. With case oil and general merchandise the stoamer Min sailed, from New York on Monday for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. KAIWARRA FROM FIJI. With coal from Newcastle and fruit from i-' 131, the Union Company's steamer Kaiwarra is expected to leave Suva to-day for Auckland. She is due next Tuesday. MANUKA FOR MELBOURNE. . The Union Company advises that the intercolonial steamer Manuka is scheduled to leave Wellington with passengers, mail and cargo for Melbourne direct at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12.

NCrAKUTA SAILED. The trouble on the Union Company's steamer Ngakuta, was settled yesterday by the firemen waiving their demand that three trimmers should be engaged, and the steamer, sailed for Rarotonga and Cook Island ports in the afternoon. She is due back at Auckland about May 24. PORT MELBOURNE FROM LONDON. According to cable advice the Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Melbourne sailed from London on Tuesday tor Auckland, Wellington and New Plymonth. KUAPEHU AT COLON. En _route from Southampton and London t.ho New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Auapehu reached Colon on Tuesday. She is 4 due at Wellington on May 26 to land passengers and mail before to Port Chalmers. Bluff. Lyttelton and New Plymouth to unload cargo. ATHENIC REPORTED. The_ Shaw. Savill and Albion liner Athenic is reported to have reached Panama on Monday, en route to Southampton and London with passengers, mail and cargo from New Zealand. She sailed from Wellington on April 9. THE SUSSEX. The steamer Sussex, running under the auspices of the Union Company, is to sail at 3 o'clock this afternoon for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin in continuation of her voyage from India.

WAIRUNA FROM SAN FRANCISCO. The Union Company's trans-Pacific steamer Wairuna is expected about Monday from San Francisco. She is bringing cargo from Pacific Coast porta for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney.

CARGO FROM AUSTRALIA. Tho local office of the Union Company has been advised that the Kawatiri will be despatched from Westport in ballast on May 14 for Adelaide direct and thence to Melbourne to lhad Australian produce for discharge at Auckland and Wellington.

WEST COAST STEAMERS DELAYED. The Manukau Bar was again unworkable yesterday. The Ngatiawa and Arapawa are anchored at the heads waiting an opportunity to sail for Waikato and Wanganui respectively. The Rimu's departure for llokianga has been postponed until one o'clock this afternoon and the Rarawa will sail for New Plymouth an hour later. MARAMA FROM SYDNEY. Tho Union Company's intercolonial steamer Mararna is to sail from Sydney this afternoon with passengers, mail, ai'd cargo for Auckland. She is scheduled' to arrive at 7 o'clock on Tuesday morning. The Maunganui will also leave Sydney tomorrow, and is due at Wellington on Tuesday morning. MAKURA DUE ON MONDAY. From San Francisco, via Papeete and Rarotonga, the Royal Mail steamer Makura is due at Wellington on Monday morning. After landing passengers, mail and cargo for New Zealand, she i 3 to resume her voyage to Sydney the following day. THE CANADIAN CONQUEROR. Cable advice received by the Canadian Government Line states that the' steamer Canadian Conqueror sailed from Halifax on April 30, with cargo for discharge at Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Ducedin. She is due at Auckland on June 9. NIAGARA LEAVES SYDNEY TO-DAY. For Vancouver, via Auckland, Suva and Honolulu, th Royal Mail steamer Niagara is to leave Sydney to-day. She is due at Auckland on Monday morning and is scheduled to resume her voyage at 11 o clock on Tuesday morning. THE CANADIAN MILLER. The Canadian Miller, after being delayed at Lyttelton by bad weather, sailed at midday on Tuesday for Timaru and Dunedm to complete discharge and also to load. She is expected at Wellington next Sunday , to continue loading and is to sail the following day for Auckland to complete. On May 13 she is to be despatched from this port for New York, Boston and Montreal. HUNTINGDON LOADING. An arrival late last night was the Federal Line steamer Huntingdon from Gisborne. This morning she will berth at Prince's Wharf to load for New York, Boston and West of England ports. From Auckland she will proceed to Wellington to complete loading. The New Zealand Shipping Company are the local agents. THE LCUIS THERIAULT. After three and a half months in port the three-masted schooner Louis Tberault is nearly ready for sea. Besides being overhauled she has been fitted with a 140 h.p. Fairbanks Morse semi-Diesel engine and will have another one installed at some future time. Captain G. Airey has been appointed master. , , . , The ship will proceed to Whansrarei to load timber for Sydney and after discharge will load poles at Port Stephens for Kopu. She was sold recently to a Queensland firm but will be under charter to her former owner. Captain Watchlin, until she has completed discharge at Kopu. CARGO FROM THE SOUTH. The Kurow from South Island ports was to leave Wellington at 6 o'clock lost evening for Auckland. She is due on Saturday morning. On Tuesday she will be despatched for Wellington. Lyttelton. Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru. . . The Kauri is to leave Lyttelton to-morrow for Napier, Gisborne and Auckland. She should reach here about Tuesday.
