Ii «r«& m » X %I% s*i A wa i Greatest Scenic Pictu • of Afeie* Z " Yes, it was a jaunt " —now that it is all over we can" say that—but, during the 18 days it took to complete the.journey and this wonderful picture, it was a stupendous undertaking—it called for such stamina as only supermen possess—and it put to the severest test automotive machinery—thought out by craftsmen of long standing and the handwork of the highest skilled mechanics. The " REO " 2-Ton Speed Waggon, ~ "YES! IT WAS A JAUNT "-—and that is just how you will express it as you sit in a tip-up seat at the Princess Theatre or Tivoli, Auckland, and view this wonderfully interesting and scenic picture of New Zealand. Messrs. L. Adams & Co., Ltd., aa the Auckland Provincial Agents, and Messrs. A. B. Donald, Ltd., as the New Zealand Distributors, for the famous REO Cars and Speed Waggons, received their shipments of the HeavyDuty 2-Ton Speed Waggon, and decided upon the most comprehensive and extensive plan of introducing them to New Zealand—to drive one fully loaded, with over 2 tons of freight, throughout the length of New Zealand—* both islands—and back again. The "REO" Motor Car Co. has been building Motor Cars and Trucks for 24 years, and their latest production—the 2-Ton Heavy-Duty Speed Waggon:—embodies everything known to the motor and mechanical skill of the world—and it is honest fact to say that the one driven through New Zealand did the whole of the journey without the slightest hitch. Over mudhills and gullies—through rivers, that washed the feet of the driver and mechanic—over good roads and bad—around the turnings and twistings of the most dangerous roads, with, at times (when all the driving ability and stamina of the man at the wheel was called to attention) the velvety purring of the powerful 50 h.p. engine was the only sound that broke the serene silence of the wonderful bush of New Zealand. —And this wonderful journey—this wonderful scenery—this wonderful Speed Waggon en route —is all in picture form, and is shown'at the Princess and Tivoli Theatres for a week commencing Thursday. May 6th. Auckland Provincial Distributors, Sturdee Street, Auckland. Master Agents for New Zealand: Customs Street West, Auckland.
