MEMBERSHIP NCM I NAT lONS. [BV TET.EGIi APII. —OWN COHREF PON DENT. J | PUKEKOBB, Saturday. Five candidates are so far announced for the four Franklin County seats on the Franklin Power Board. Mr. J. Dean, chairman of the board, and Messrs. K. Cuff and H. J'. Garland are seeking re-election, while Mr. H. Wilcox, chairman of the Franklin County Council, and Mr, <T B. McKinney, a prominent settler at Bombay, are also announced. Mr. R. Armiger, of Ramaruma, was to bo nominated by the Opaheke-Drnry-Bombay-Karaka Ratepayers' Association, but is precluded by a technicality from standmg. and Mr. McKinney ha v been nominated m h.s stead.
