POVERTY BAY CROPS.

There are not a great many good crops of turnips and mangels in the Poverty Bay district this season, but a few< farmers who planted at an opportune time have obtained excellent results. A crop of fine mangels can bo seen at Mr. J. Haskin's farm €'it Manutuke, a half-acre of these providing a considerable quantity of winter feed. Mr. R. Coop has been very successful with a turnip crop on his property at Muriwai. The heaviest of tliern would weigh about 121b.
