DAVIS CUP CONTEST.
CANADA-CUBA MEETING. VENUE OF MATCH ANNOUNCED. (Received 7.5 p.m.) Reuter. TORONTO, April 19. The president of the Canadian Lawn Tennis Association, Mr. Meldrum, has announced that the first round of the Davis Cup tie, Canada v. Cuba, will be played at Cuba. Dates for play hav* not been announced, but are expected to be in July or early in August. « So far Willard Crocker and Jack Wright are tho only two members of Canada's team who have been named, but it is likely that two others will lie added.
