The Mnnukau Rugby Union, which held its annual meeting on Saturday, elected the following officers for tho new season:— Patron. Mr. J. R. Wilson; president, Mr. •Tames McCnll: vice-presidents, Messrs. E. C Foote, W. T. Duder, J. P. McCall. K! Watson. W. J. Brooks. G. Dow and T. G. Smith: secretary. Mr. T. Dickey: deleKates to Northern Waikato Union, Messrs. Heard and Flarncan: senior se'ectors Messrs Brnnks, W. Dawe n"d ■ Dic'-pv-junior selectors, Messrs. Wallis. Appleby and Chapman: auditor, Mr. Mcllraith The union starts the season with a credit balance of Tho president and Messrs. Elliott and Wall is were deputed to deal with applications for registration by new players coming into the district during the season. Entries for the °o?rior competition were received from the Drury. Papakurn. Clevedon and Hunua Clubs. It wns decided to play three rounds, starting on May S. ■
