BUILDINGS AND ROADS. The Mount Roskill Road Board mot last evening, the chairman, Mr. G. E. Tansley, presiding. The proprietors of a garage at Greenwood's Corner, just inside the city boundary, sought permission to erect a kerbside petrol pump within the Mount Roskill boundary, as tho city regulations did not allow them to make an installation immediately in front of their own premises. The matter was left to the chair* man and the engineer. The engineer reported that the Mount Albert Road had been completed (scarified, reformed, blinded and rolled), to the boundary, west of Edendalo Road. Extensive repairs had , also been made to Rose Road and Hillsborough Road. The building inspector reported that during the past fortnight 20 permits had been issued, including ten dwellings, of a total estimated value of £9625. At present there were 58 buildings in course of erection in the district.
