TEACHERS' HOLIDAYS.
Sir,—Would it not be possible for the public schools and the University to close on the same date. A large percentage of the junior teachers attend lectures, and 1 the schools close on the Bth and the Un - versity not till the 15th, it means -that those teachers cannot get away for a holiday, many to their homes in the country. A little forethought on the p9ft> pt those in authority could easily remedy this serious defect. Ex-Teacueß.
