SEASON OPENS TO-MORROW. BLANDFORD PARK ATTRACTION. PERSONNEL OF THE TEAMS. The Auckland Football Association will open the 192G season to-morrow at Blandford Park where two senior matches will be played. North Shore and Thistle, two of the strongest teams, will meet at 2 d-"v and the match is to be followed bv the contest between Y.M.C.A. and Tramways. The South Auckland Football Association's annual meeting was the largest in the history of the code in Squth Auckland. Mr. W. Mawson presided. The annual report and balance-sheet for the past season, summaries of which have been published in the Herald, were adopted and opportunity taken to congratulate the outgoing management committee on its conduct of affairs during the period. The election of secretary was deferred until the first meeting of the Management Committee., Mr. Cox undertaking the duties in the meantime. Mr. G. Cox was appointed examiner to the association for referees' badges during the coming season.
