DEATH OF LABOURER.

BODY FOUND IN SHACK

A labourer, Michael McClair, aged 60, was found dead in his shack in Marton Road, Point-Chevalier, early on Wednesday morning. The discovery was made by the police, who state there was a clothes-line round deceased's neck.

At an inquest yesterday evidence of identification was given by Francis Joseph McClair, brother of the deceased. Deceased was admitted to the Auckland Hospital on March 9 suffering from heart trouble, and was discharged on March 20.

The coroner, Mr. J. W. Poynton, S.M adjourned the inquest until to-day.
