EXHIBITION IN MUSIC.

AUCKLAND PUPIL'S SUCCESS

The Associated Board of the. Royal Academy of Music and tho Royal College of Music offers annually local exhibitions, valued at £ls and £lO respectively, to those who show great musical promise. Tho awards for 1925 include a local exhibition, advanced grade, to Dorothy Mudford, of Auckland, in singing.

The board also' offered an exhibition, tenable for two or three years, at the Royal College or Royal Academy in London. This award has not yet been made. For tho current year three such exhibitions are offered in New Zealand and it is hoped that candidates may be found to take them all up.
