CYCLING.
A RIDER SUSPENDED. [BT TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. W. Mackie, a prominent racing cyclist, was suspended for 12 ninths for insulting remarks to officials. The North Canterbury Centre of tho New Zealand Athletic and Cycling Union also viewed with disfavour his rofusal to give the use of his motorcyclo for pacing.
