ALLEGED GERMAN GOODS. [BT TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON. Wednesday. The Chamber of Commerce is investigating a gaso in which it is alleged by a member of the Birmingham Chamber that an English firm is shipping certain goods to New Zealand at prices very much below those quoted by other British makers, and that these; goods are of German manufacture, imported to England and reshipped to Now Zealand invoiced ns articles of British manufacture, so paying lower rates | under the preferential rates of customs duty. ■
