TEST CRICKET MATCHES.
CHARGES IN ENGLAND. KELLEWAY ON AUSTRALIANS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, April 10. The prices to be charged for the test cricket matches in England against the Australians will be strikingly in contrast with those charged in Australia. The Lancashire Club will not reserve seats at the old Trafford ground apart from the members' pavilion. Forty thousand seats will be sold to firstcomers, for which 7s 6d is to be charged on the pavilion side and 2s 6d on the popular side. There is room for 20,000 to 25,000 at Lord's after the Marvlebone members have been satisfied. There the public will pay 3s for admission and an extra 5s for the stand. Thirty-five thousand seats are available at the Oval. The prico of admission to that ground will be 3s, and extra charges will be, 12s to the east stand, 7s 6d to the VauxhalJ stand, and 4s 6d to the temporary stancL Entrance to the Nottingham ground is to be 2s 6d, while an additional 8s a day will secure a seat in the covered stand, and 5s extra a seat in the uncovered- stand. Kelleway has arrived in London. He writes in the Sunday Express saying he was very surprised to read Clem. Hill's article discussing the method of selection of the Australian team. Hill was certainjy indiscreet, he says. All sportsmen regarded the selection meetings as strictly confidential. The Australian team had an exceptionally lazy time on the voyage home, said Kelleway, and will reach England absolutely fit and well. They would be a hard rteain to beat, but not nearly so hard as was the case in the previous tests.
