ARTHUR.—On April 11. 1926, at Auckland. James, husband of the late Ann Arthur, late of Dunedin; aged 85 years. Private interment.

BROWNE.—On April 9. 192 G. at the Auckland Hospital. Ellen, dearly-beloved wife of Herbert Browne, of Ararimu; aged 41 years. Intermont at Bombay Church of England Cemetery at 2 p.m. to-day (Monday). Funeral leaves Mr. Sibun's mortuary at 12 noon.

FORD.—On April 11. at his lute residence, 87. Wellesley Street, Arthur James Ford, beloved husband of Florence M. Ford (neo Frater), son of Mrs. C'attrall, Cf.stle Street, Hiaharn. Norwich. Norfolk. England: lata corporal, orderly room clerk. Headquarters, Featlierston. in his 50th year. Funeral will leave the nbova address, to-morrow (Tuesday), 10.30 a.m.

GORDON.—On April 10. Percival George, beloved second son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Gordon*, of Karaka. Runciman. aged 23 years (accidentally killed). The funeral will leave Auckland Hospital for Papakura Cemetery at 1 p.m. to-day (Monday).

IRVING.—On April 7. at Christchurch. Emma, widow of the late Joseph Irving and deaxly-beloved mother of Mrs. F, Savage, and Mrs. T. Smalley. Nukwhou North. Bay of Plenty, and H. Ridley, Auckland; in her 66th year. A patient sufferer at rest.
