WELLINGTON MILK SUPPLY.
A VISITOR'S PRAISE. A very favourable impression of the Wellington milk control and supply system was formed by Dr. M. T. MacEachern. He said Wellington seemed to have solved the milk problem. It had adopted the best means of control and supply, and ho hoped to be able to advise other places to follow the lines adopted. From a health point of view a good milk supply meant the saving of many lives, particularly of children, and prevented epidemics and other conditions detrimental to the health of the people. "I feel ' that centralisation and control of the milk supply under a municipal department such as you havo in Wellington," said Dr. MacEachern, "is the best means of solving the problem, and Wellington should be very proud indeed to have accomplished such a modern develop mont,"
