SUNDAY EVENING LECTURES.

A lecture on " Beautiful Japan" will be given in the Princess Theatre tomorrow evening by Mr. G. A. llawson. The fascinating country is represented by coloured slides, which have evoked much appreciation when previously shown. Tho lecture is being repeated by special request. At tho Empress Theatre, Newton, the " Waitakoro Ranges and Tho Glorious West Coast" will bo tho subject of a lecture given by Mr. F. J. Newbery, L.L.B. The slides which accompany this subject are stated to be exceptionally fine, and include magnificent seascapes and coastal scenery, of Karekare, Piha, Anawhata, and To Henga.
