fire-engine and tram. MELBOURNE FIREMAN KILLED. A. aiul N.Z. MELBOURNE, April 1. While a fire ongino from Windsor was travelling to a fire at South Yarra it collided with a tramcar. One fireman was killed and three others were seriously injured. The engine stopped at an intersection to allow the tram to pass. The driver then proceeded apparently without noticing the approach of another tram, which crashed into the side of the engine.
