AMBULANCE CONTESTS.

THE ST. JOHN BRIGADES. SYDNEY TEAM COMPETING. At the Domain to-day the public will have an opportunity of witnessing the efficiency of St. John Ambulance Brigade teams from Sydney, Auckland, Wanganui and Masterton. The St. John men appear frequently before the public to voluntarily render first aid to the injured, and it will be interesting to watch their competitive displays. Two contests will be decided. The teams will compete for the Overseas Cup, which has been presented specially for this event. The winning of the cup will be decided by competition in the handling of a stretcher case, triangular and roller bandaging and general questions. The Gaze Cup will be competed for hv teams from the Auckland National Reserve, Masterton and Wanganui divisions. It will be decided by the handling of .1 stretcher case. This cup is at present held by the Auckland division team.
