MANY SHEEP LOST

CAUGHT BY FLOOD WATERS. NEW SOUTH WALES FLOCK. A. and N.Z. SYDNEY, March 31. While 3000 sheep were travelling by road near Coonamble, they were caught by flood waters from the Castlereagh River. With the exception of 200 or 300 all the sheep were drowned. The remainder are still bogged. The flock comprised an exceptionally good lot of one-year-old ewes. Smaller losses of stock through the floods are reported from different parts of the district.
