Miss Tubervill, national vice-president of the Tonng Women's Christian Associaiton, in presenting prizes at the Guildhall, said : " If those who talk about the modern girl would come to the Guildhall every year they would eee the true type and also what exercises and athletics they do." The cocktail type of girl, of whom Miss Tubervill said she was tired of hearing, hardly existed compared -with the real girls. _____
