BLOCK IN ALBERT STREET. •, v* '• . PURCHASED FOR £22,500. The premises in Albert Street occupied by Cars, Limited, as a motor garage have been purchased by Mr. G. Shirtcliffe, 'of Wellington. The. purchase price was £22,500. For many years the premises, which have frontages to both Albert Street and Federal Street, were occupied by Messrs. P.ullan and Armitaga as livery stables. With the advent of the motorcar as the popular transport vehicle the building was converted into a garage. It has not yet been decided to what use the premises, will be put in future,, but it is probable that at least a portion of the building will continue to be used as a garage. The sale was effected through Mjr. H. E. Simmonds, accountant.
