GOLF.
THE OTAHUHU CLUB. Fifty members were present at the annual meeting of the Otahuhu Golf Club. The annual report showed the financial affairs of the club to be in a very satisfactory condition. The club had a. membership of 130. New members totalling 38 were admitted. It is intended to onen the season on April 10. when mixed foursomes will be played. . Players will choose their own partners and opponents will be drawn. The following officers were elected:—President. Mr. A. Murdoch; vice-president, Mr. R. G. Moffitt: captain. Mr. B. H. Menzies; vice-captain, Mr. H. J. Levy: hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. C. R. Reader: ladies' cantain. Miss E. Ythiteley: hon. secretary. Miss J. Me Arthur: committee. Messrs. J. S. Whyte, H. Plumlev. W. Eustace. . NEW WAIMARINO CLUB. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] ' RAETIHI, Monday. A special general meeting of the Raetihi Golf Club was held on Friday when it was resolved that the] cljib be wound up and that Mr. A. J. Windle be liquidator. A well-attended meeting of members of the Raetihi and Ruapehu Golf Clubs was also held on Friday, 53 members of the combined clubs being present. Mr. P. C. Murray explained that the purpose of the meeting was for the formation of a new golf club to acquire the racing club's property at Makaran'ui. It was resolved to call the new club the Waimarino Golf Club. New rules were adopted. Mr. Murray was elected president. A working bee consisting of 20 men and five horses started stumping and logging on Sunday l at Makaranui. Good progress was made.
