CAPSIZE IN ISLANDS.
POLYNESIAN BOAT WRECKED. THE MASTER REPORTED LOST. [BY TELEGRAPH.- —OWN' CORRESPONDENT. ] WELLINGTON. Monday. The Minister for the Cook Islands has been advised by the Administrator of Western Samoa of the receipt of a message from tho Governor of American Samoa stating that he had received a report from the naval station ship Tanager, at Tau, that four Polynesians left Penrhyn Island, in the Northern Cook Group, for Tahiti, on February 22, in a sailing boat, which capsized on March 9. They righted the boat next day, but lost, their food, compass and mainsail. They then drifted with the wind and current, landing at Tau, in the Manua Group, American Samoa, on March 24. The names of those in the boat were Teiho Ford, Akatupuria Qui ft, and Hiro Williams. The master, Teiho 'Ford, was lost when the boat liroke up on the reef. The Cook Islands Department is arranging for the survivors to be' brought to Auckland to await the departure of the Hinemoa, about the end of April for the Cook Group, including a visit to'Penrhyn Island-
