MASTER BAKERS' TOUR.
A FAREWELL DINNER. On the eve of their departure on an extended business trip to the United Kingdom, Mr. J. Gold, Balclutha, and Mr. S. Gibson, Auckland, were tendered a farewell dinner at the Hotel Cargen last evening by the Master Bakers' Association. The Dominion president, Mr. G. K. Mathifson, presided. At a subsequent business meeting Mr. Mathieson referred to the excellent work done for the association by the two guests, who suitably responded.
