The party to tonr the Woodlands Swamp area to-morrow will leave the Hamilton Post • Office at 10.30, The route will be through Gordonton to Law's Hill and back, along the Piako Road toward Motumaoho, . The object of the tour is to demonstrate what can be done with swamp lands and thereby arouse interest in the development of these areas. , , COMPREHENSIVE SCHEME. APPROVAL AT MORRINSVILLE. [by telegraph,—own correspondent.] MORRINSVILLE, Wednesday. At the quarterly meeting of the Morrmsv'ille Chamber of Commerce, Messrs. N. G. Gribble and' Chapman, of the Swamp-Development- League, addressed tho members, explaining the objects of the league, and the bonefits that were likely to . accrue from the proposed comprehensive scheme, which will develop the. large area of swamp land adjoining tho Morrinsville, Hamilton and Taupiri districts. ■ After both members had fully explained the scheme and answered many questions, the .chamber decided to approve of the principle and that the president (Mr. G. Oates) .and Mr.' W. C. Cargill represent tho chamber on the tour of inspection. Tho chamber also decided to donate £2 2s annually-to the i Development League's funds.,
