DOMINION AT WEMBLEY.
THE BEST COURT DISPLAY.
SIR F. CHAPMAN'S OPINION.
While on the subject of publicity for New Zealand, Sir Frederick Chapman, who returned to Wellington from England this week, mentioned that in his opinion the Dominion had the best court at Wembley. Prior to visiting the exhibition in May last he had read reports concerning New Zealand's pavilion, but when he inspected it he was agreeably surprised to see that there had been an apparent transformation, and although the exhibits " were naturally a little handicapped for the want of space there was absolutely no question as to the excellence of the court and the work performed under Sir Alex. Roberts. Wembley had done a great deal for the Dominion and Sir Frederick was also convinced that the High Commissioner's office was doing good work. "In a front window of one of the offices," continued the speaker, "there is p, swordfish about four yards long, and if this is not an advertisement for New Zealand. then what is?" In this respect Sir Frederick said he thought a great many very desirable tourists would be attracted from other countries as a result of the publicity through Mr. Zane Grey's present fishing experiences.
