WEDDINGS.

A pretty wedding was solemnised at the To Awamutu Methodist Church on Wednesday, February 3 when the contracting parties were Lillian Elisabeth, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Snook, of Seddon Road, Frankton Junction, and Harold Hector, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Marsh, of Paliiatua. Tho Per. H. White was the officiating clerygman. Tho bride, who was given away by her father, was attired in a pretty dress 01 brocaded eolinne-, and wore the usual veil and orange blossoms. She carried a lovely bouquet of white sweet peas and asparagus fern. The bridesmaid, Miss Violet Snook, sister of the bride, wore a pretty dress of eau-de-nil crepe do chino, and carried a bouquet of sweet peas and asparagus fern. Air. Sydney Snook, brother of tho bride, attended as best man.

A pretty wedding took place at Papakura on Wednesday afternoon, when Miss Olive McLennan, younger daughter of Mr. E. D. McLennan, M.P., and Mrs. McLennan, of Papakura, was married to Mr. Arthur E. Rickards, son of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Rickards, of Epsom. The ceremony was conducted by tho Rev. R. R. Greenwood, assisted by his brother, the Rev. W. Greenwood, of Queensland. It had the distinction of being the first wedding in tho new Presbyterian Church at Papakura, the interior of which had been beautifully decorated for the occasion by friends of the bride, tho central feature being a large arch of flowers and greenery, from which was suspended a floral wedding belt. The bride entered tho church escorted by her father and preceded by two little flower girls, Gwenyth MeCullough and Violet Watson, dressed in mauve crepe de chine with tulle caps and silver headbands and each carried a pink posy. The bride wore a dress of ivory charmeuse trimmed with orange blossoms and chantilly lace, and she carried a shower bou,quet. Tho bridesmaid was Miss Annie McLennan, cousin of tho bride, who wore a coral (jink crepe de chine frock, with hat to match trimmed with silver. Her bouquet was of mauve flowers. Mr. Sutherland Wilson was best man.
