BODY FOUND IN RIVER.
"A'POSITION IN LONDON. ' MR. C. RENN OF CHRISTCHURCH. [BY TELSORAPH. —OWN COKBESPONMNT.] ' CHMSTCHUftCH. Friday. Mr. C. Renn, secretary of the Canterbury Federation of Unions, has tendered his resignation ns secretary of that body. Mr. Renn stated thai he had accepted a position in London with the firm of Messrs. Bonn, Mounan and Company, pianoforte manufacturers, and that ho was leaving the Dominion on April 27 on the Tahiti for San Francisco. Mr. Rumv's resignation was accepted with regret. Ho is a well-known trade ipion secretary,, the chief unions by which he is employed comprising the Chriftchurch Printing Trades Union, the, Christchurch Performing Musicians' Union, the Christchvi'ch Plumbers and GasStters' Union, the Ghristchurch Plasterers' Union, the Christchurch Journalists' Union and the Canterbury Traction and Stationary Enginedrivers' Union. There are 10 trade unions in tho Federation of Unions.
