" THE LOCAL BODIES' LOANS ACT, 1913." AND ITS AMENDMENTS. The Ellerslie Town Board hereby gives notice in pursuance of Section 9 of the above Act:— . , 1. That it proposes to engage in the following undertaking, namely:—According, as may be deemed requisite or necessary, the laying down in concrete kerbing, channelling, forming footpaths along and relaying the water mains along that portion of the Great South Road within tho jurisdiction of the Ellerslie. Town board at a total cost, including Engineer s fees and contingencies, not exceeding £7OOO. 2. That the Ellerslio Town Board, being unablo io provide the funds for such works out of its ordinary revenue, proposes to raise a Special Loan of not exceeding £7OOO at a rate of interest not exceeding £6 per cent, per annum. .. 3. That the said Loan will bo repayable at the end of 36£ yearn, with provision for a sinking fund of at least 1 per cent, per annum. 4. That the security for the said Loan will be a Special Rate of 10-16 d in the £, to be made and levied on the Unimproved Value of all Ratable Property within the Ellerslie Town District.. 5.
