That it proposes to engage in the following undertaking, namely:—According, as may be deemed requisite or necessary, the laying down in concrete kerbing, channelling, forming footpaths along and relaying the water mains along that portion of the Great South Road within tho jurisdiction of the Ellerslie. Town board at a total cost, including Engineer s fees and contingencies, not exceeding £7OOO. 2. That the Ellerslio Town Board, being unablo io provide the funds for such works out of its ordinary revenue, proposes to raise a Special Loan of not exceeding £7OOO at a rate of interest not exceeding £6 per cent, per annum. .. 3.
