ACCIDENT AT DUN ED IN. SEQUEL IN POLICE COURT. [EX TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION. ] DU3STEDIN, Friday. In the Police Court to-day, before 11. W. .Bundle, S.M., David Russell Thompson, %who was charged with being drunk while in charge of a motor-car on January 24, %was fined £lO and costs, £ 3 19s, and his license was cancelled for 12 months. The evidence showed that defendant, a motor salesman, was driving a car along Princes Street in the morning and knocked a man down, the latter receiving supe&leial injuries. The magistral said accused was fortunate that he was not called upon to answer a manslaughter charge.
