THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL.
The Governor-General, Sir Charles Fergusson, opened the Arts Building of the Auckland University College yesterday afternoon. To day Their Excellencies will witness the race to be sailed by the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron for the Governor-General's Cup. His Excellency will sj.il on the keel yacht Rawene, belonging to the commodore of the squadron, Mr. A. E. Gifford. Members of the staff will Bfil 011 the Waitangi and Prize.
