SALTED ALMONDS.

When giving a dinner party it is always an attractive addition to tho meal to provide a dish or two oi salted almonds: They •are quite simple to prepare in this manner. Remove the skins by placing the almonds in a bowl of boiling water, after which dry then in a clean, fluflless cloth. Melt a little butter in a basin, and rub the almonds in it till they are well greased. Sprinkle them liberally with salt and rub it in with the fingers, Now arrange them on a baking sheet and place them in a quick oven. In a very little while they will turn golden brown. Remove and leave them to cool. When cold they will be found to be quite crisp.
