Notice is hereby given that it is the Intention of the Mayor. Councillors and Burgesses of the Borough _of Takapuna (hereinafter referred to as the Council), to apply to the Honourable the Minister of Internal Affairs for his approval of the terms of an Agreement to purchase certain lands in Northcote Road in the Borough of Takapuna. :: The land proposed to be acquired is ■ituated in Northcote Eoad in tho Borough of Tnkapuna and contains 2 acres and 2 roods and comprises Lots 157, 153, 159, 160, 161, 162, 163, 164, 165, and 167, of portion of Allotment 89 of tho Parish of Takapuna. Tho present owners are Messrs. Ewen William Alison and Ernest Alison end the purchase price of the land is the sum of £4250, which it is proposed to pay as follows:—The sum of £250 as a deposit and the balance of £4OOO by half-yearly payments of £SOO each: tho Counc-.l to have Ihe light to pay off the balance of purchase money in one sum at any time on fivingr one month's written notice to the 'endors.
