THE OHINEMURI POLL.
DISTRIBUTION OF BOOTHS. FEELING OF. DISSATISFACTION. fBT TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT. J MOKRINSVILLE. Thursday. , Strong exception has been taken In con--nection with the Ohinemuri licensing election in not providing polling-booths at important centres, and eliminating booths that were utilised in the general election. The' Morrinsville district has suffered rather severely, as the Ohinemuri dis T triet surrounds the borough'. For instance, at Tauhei, where 84 votes were cast- at the last general election, there was no booth. Other places- similarly puaced are Piako (61 votes), Hoe-o-toainui (33 votes), Ten Foot Eoad, Taupiri {72 votes), a.nd Eureka (25 votes). At Tauhei at the previous election 133 votes ■were cast. Restoration having been carried in the electorate it is felt that every elector should have a chance of voting for a member of the Licensing Committee.
